Mary Lee Eytchison
1985-12-07I just found this today. I am truly saddened to learn of Mary Lees's passing at such a young age. I met her in 1966 during a band exchange trip between Walter Johnson and my high school, Fair Lawn Senior High in Fair Lawn, NJ. I along with two other guys was hosted by Mary Lee's parents in Bethesda and Mary Lee stayed with me and my parents when her school came to Fair Lawn. We really hit it off as we discovered we were born on the same day (Jan 10, 1948). The last time I saw her was Halloween, 1977. I was in D.C. and on a chance called her dad in Bethesda. Mary Lee was there to take the girls out trick or treating and she invited me to join them. We exchanged birthday cards for several years afterwards. I would think of her and the girls every now and then. My deepest sympathies to her family.
tribute by Peter ZaccarioI was married to Mary Lee for seventeen years and had two lovely daughters with her. She was a wonderful mother and wife and we were all very happy up to her sudden death from a heart attack in 1985. We still miss her.
tribute by Richard BrowningMary Lee was a terrific dancer, and I got to know her pretty well from 7th and 8th grade cotillion held every week in the (DAR?) lodge at the corner of Greentree Road and Old Georgetown Road in Bethesda. She was fun to be with, and it's sad she's no longer with us.
