2013-07-02| JILL BLOMQUIST FILIPCZYK (Age 65) On Tuesday, July 2, 2013, Jill Elizabeth Blomquist Filipczyk of Chevy Chase, MD, passed away peacefully in Washington, DC. She was the beloved wife of 41 years of Boleslaw C. Filipczyk, Jr.; dear mother of Kathleen Jane Filipczyk Howard of Rockville, MD; mother-in-law of Stephen Thomas Howard; devoted grandmother of Hannah Patricia Howard and Heidi Cecilia Howard; sister of C. William Blomquist of Potomac, MD, Jack Blomquist, formerly of Frederick, MD and Jane Blomquist Shell of Washington, DC. A gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Jill's name. Jill did so much to ensure the 2006 Reunion went successfully. It was a great pleasure to work with her then. With much sadness, she will not be at our 50th and enjoy her friends again.
