Thomas H. Tate
2005-08-25
- - August 25th, 2005
I remember him always with a smile on his face, kind, extroverted, and carrying a briefcase. I knew him through our Republican activities – campaigning for Goldwater in 1964, and charter members of the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Teen-Age Republicans (TARs). We sat together at graduation ceremonies at the UM, refusing to stand with our classmates to applaud commencement speaker, Sen. Ted Kennedy. (We were real renegades, always walking on the wild side.
